Step 1
Fasten a joint-sleeve to the end of a pipe by turning it clockwise, then cut off the cap of the joint sleeve if there is one

Step 2
Bring the end of the second pipe closer to the one with the joint -sleeve fastened on. Turn the joint-sleeve counterclockwise untill the contact between the two pipes is a not at the midpoint of the joint-sleeve

Step 3
Use rubber tape to wrap tightly around the pipe where there is a gap between the and the joint-sleeve

Use a heating torch to melt the rubber tape.

Wrap water-resistant PVC tape around the pipe outside the rubber tape.
